Quito to Cuenca
Bought tickets for the 10:45 bus. It would leave from platform 14. Showed the tickets to go #14, but were asked to buy platform tickets. Waited at platform 14; were told the platform had been changed to #15. The
bus came at 10:45 sharp. Not sure where it came from, but it had some passengers inside. We boarded the bus and kept our luggage with us in the cabin.

Quito to Cuenca
As we entered the modern bus terminal one child ran to the bathroom, and the other child found a $10 bill on the floor. We waited there with the money, to find a frazzled person crying for the money he/she had dropped; no one showed up. Decided to give the money to destitute we would run into.
