Quito to Cuenca

Gave the room key at the reception and walked to the nearest trolley-bus station.  It was our understanding that the trolley we boarded would not take us to the bus terminal, that we would have to change.  At one stop where a lot of people were getting off, we asked for Quitumbe; a woman told us we did not need to get off; the same trolley would go to Quitumbe.  One huge disadvantage in traveling with children is that they always need to go to the bathroom at the wrong time.  In the trolley the girl whispered in my ear she needed to go for poopoo.  Asked her to hold it; told her making circles with her finger, around her navel would help her hold it.  She did that a couple of times and then told me it was not working.  In just a short while we reached Ter minal del Sur and it was a relief.
