After getting done with the immigration formalities we walked to a van leaving for Tulcan. All the jubilant Colombian celebrations for 2-1 victory over Costa Rica were now suddenly left behind. Also left behind were the Colombian Pesos. Ecuador no longer has its national currency--it uses US dollars.
